New 40ft containers, also known as one trip containers, have carried a single load of dry goods before being made available for sale. They may show some light superficial marks from that journey, but need no upfront maintenance or painting.
A 40ft container is built to carry large quantities of goods, which makes it ideal for storing high-volume items such as home furniture, retail inventory or construction materials. At 9ft 6in tall, this high cube gives an extra foot of height over a standard container. Unlike a used container, a new one trip unit is ready straight away for shipping, stacking, building and conversions.
